Deine Aufgaben

Als Junior AI Platform Engineer hast du Lust, dich mit Kubernetes und verteilten Systemen zu beschäftigen. Als Teil unseres Teams aus Infrastrukturexperten entwickelst du moderne KI- und Datenplattformem zur Lösung von Problemen aus der Praxis:

Du entwickelst und automatisierst eine Kubernetes-basierte Data-Science-Plattform zusammen mit unserem Team
Du nimmst am gesamten Lebenszyklus der Plattform teil. Von Konzept, Entwicklung, Test, Bereitstellung bis zur Dokumentation
Du kannst die Verantwortung für die Entwicklung von Funktionen von der Konzeption bis zum Produktionseinsatz übernehmen
Du nimmst an den (meist online stattfindenden) Meetings mit unseren Kunden teil und präsentierst deine Ergebnisse

Du hast Spaß an der Arbeit in einem Team, das moderne KI-Lösungen entwickelt
Du denkst lösungsorientiert und gehst analytisch und strukturiert an Probleme heran
Dank deiner Motivation und Selbstdisziplin erreichst du eine hohe Produktivität, lieferst termingerecht Ergebnisse in guter Qualität und motivierst andere Teammitglieder
Durch kontinuierliche Selbstkritik verbesserst du iterativ deine eigenen Qualitätsstandards

Du hast einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Informatik oder einem anderen quantitativen Studiengang (oder bist derzeit eingeschrieben, wenn du dich als Werkstudent bewirbst)
Du hast bereits Erfahrung mit einigen Teilen unseres Tech-Stacks:
- Python und Bash (oder mindestens eine andere Sprache)
- Linux auf der Kommandozeile
- Docker und Kubernetes
- CI/CD (Gitlab, Github)
- Cloud Computing (GCP, Azure)
und mit einigen dieser Software-Engineering-Aufgaben
- Schreiben von wartbarem Code
- Unit- und Integrationstests
- Softwarepaketierung und Containeraisierung
- Dokumentation
- Arbeiten in agilen Teams

Your tasks

As a Junior AI Platform Engineer, you are keen on diving into Kubernetes and distributed systems. As part of our infrastructure expert team, you will develop modern AI and data platform solutions to solve real-world problems:

You will develop and automate a Kubernetes-based data science platform as part of a team
You will take part in the full lifecycle of concept, development, testing, deployment and documentation
You can take responsibility for development of features from conception to production deployment
You will join the (mostly online) meetings with our customers and present your results

Your profile

You enjoy working in a team developing modern AI solutions
You think in a solution-oriented way and approach problems in an analytical and structured way
Thanks to your motivation and self-discipline, you achieve high productivity, deliver good quality results in time and motivate other team members
Through continuous self-criticism, you iteratively improve your own quality standards

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or another quantitative field of study (or are currently enrolled when applying as working student)
You already have experience with some parts of our tech stack:
- Python and Bash (or at least one other language)
- Linux on the command line
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD (Gitlab, Github)
- Cloud Computing (GCP, Azure)
and with some of these Software Engineering tasks
- Writing maintainable code
- Unit- and integration testing
- Software packaging and containerization
- Documentation
- Working in agile teams
