Deine Aufgaben

Als LLM Engineer verstehst du das Potential von KI und insbesondere LLMs, verfolgst die aktuelle Entwicklung und wendest dieses Wissen an, um reale Probleme zu lösen.

Du verfolgst die aktuelle Entwicklung im Bereich Deep Learning und LLMs
Du entwickelst in kleinen eigenverantwortlichen Teams (Automatisierungs-) Lösungen durch die Kombination von LLMs und Softwareengineering
Du optimierst LLMs mittels Finetuning, Prompting und RAG
Du entwickelst agentenbasierte LLM-Workflows
Du entwickelst, realisierst, testest und dokumentierst fachkundig – natürlich mit KI-Unterstützung
Du bist von der Konzeptionierung bis zur Inbetriebnahme an der Entwicklung beteiligt

Dein Profil

Du hast einen sehr guten Masterabschluss in Informatik oder einen vergleichbaren Hintergrund
Du hast umfassende und jederzeit aktuelle Kenntnisse im Bereich LLMs, kennst dich mit aktuellen Modellen, Benchmarks und Frameworks aus
Du hast ein tiefes technisches Verständnis der Transformer-Architektur
Du hast Erfahrung mit RAG, Prompting, Hosting und Finetuning von LLMs
Du hast sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse, lebst die Best Practices und hast bereits erfolgreich Softwareprojekte umgesetzt.
Du lässt auch mal die KI für dich arbeiten, insbesondere beim CodenDu hast ein hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein und erkennst Risiken frühzeitigDu arbeitest gerne im Team und kannst effektiv mit Personen unterschiedlicher Profession (technisch und nicht-technisch) kommunizieren
Durch deine Motivation und Selbstdisziplin erreichst du einen hohen Qualitätsstandard, lieferst Ergebnisse termingerecht ab und motivierst andere Team-Mitglieder

Your tasks

As an LLM Engineer, you understand the potential of AI and particularly LLMs, staying abreast of current developments and applying this knowledge to solve real-world problems.

You keep up with the latest advancements in Deep Learning and LLMs
You develop (automation) solutions in small, self-managed teams by combining LLMs and software engineering
You optimize LLMs through fine-tuning, prompting, and RAG
You develop agent-based LLM workflows
You expertly develop, implement, test, and document your work—with the support of AI, of course
You are involved in the development process from conceptualization to deployment

Your profile

You hold an outstanding Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
You possess comprehensive and current knowledge in the area of LLMs, and are familiar with the latest models, benchmarks, and frameworks
You have an in-depth technical understanding of transformer architecture
You have experience with RAG, prompting, hosting, and fine-tuning LLMs
You have excellent programming skills, adhere to best practices, and have successfully executed software projects
You effectively leverage AI for assistance, particularly in coding
You exhibit a high level of responsibility and are adept at identifying risks early
You enjoy working in a team and can communicate effectively with individuals from various professional backgrounds (both technical and non-technical)
Through your motivation and self-discipline, you achieve high-quality standards, deliver results on time, and inspire other team members
