Deine Aufgaben

Als DevOps Engineer übernimmst du die technische Führung unserer Infrastruktur und DevOps-Praktiken. Du bist mit modernen Cloud-Technologien und Deployment-Strategien vertraut. Als Teil unseres Teams automatisierst du Prozesse, optimierst Workflows und sorgst für zuverlässige und skalierbare Systeme. Dabei arbeitest du sowohl aktiv an Projekten und Produkten als auch an der projektübergreifenden Infrastruktur und DevOps-Strategie und trägst die Verantwortung dafür, dass Best Practices in der JUST ADD AI gelebt werden.

Infrastructure as Code: Du verantwortest und entwickelst unsere Infrastructure as Code weiter
CI/CD-Pipelines: Du designst und optimierst CI/CD-Pipelines für zuverlässige, automatisierte Deployments
Container-Orchestrierung: Du orchestrierst containerisierte Anwendungen und arbeitest mit Cloud-Plattformen
Technische Qualität: Du identifizierst technische Schulden und Risiken frühzeitig und adressierst sie proaktiv
Mentoring: Du mentorst Teammitglieder, führst Code Reviews durch und förderst den Wissensaustausch
Best Practices: Du bringst Best Practices ins Team und hilfst anderen, diese umzusetzen
Full-Stack-Entwicklung: Du springst flexibel in die Fullstack-Entwicklung, wenn Kapazitäten frei sind
Coding-Assistenten: Du entwickelst, testest und dokumentierst unter intensivster Nutzung von LLM-basierten Coding-Assistenten
End-to-End: Du bist von der Konzeptionierung bis zur Inbetriebnahme an der Entwicklung beteiligt

Dein Profil

Du hast einen sehr guten Abschluss in Informatik oder einen vergleichbaren Hintergrund
Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung mit Infrastructure as Code Frameworks wie Terraform oder Ansible
Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse von Kubernetes, sowohl konzeptionell als auch in der praktischen Anwendung
Du hast sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse, lebst die Best Practices und hast bereits erfolgreich Softwareprojekte mit TypeScript oder Python in die Produktion gebracht
Du hast praktische Erfahrung im Deployment von Anwendungen mit CI/CD-Tools wie ArgoCD
Du hast Vertrautheit mit Cloud-Plattformen wie AWS, GCP oder Azure
Netzwerk-Know-how, besonders im Zusammenspiel mit Cloud-Providern, ist von Vorteil
Du hast Freude daran, andere zu fördern und dein Wissen weiterzugeben

Your tasks

As a DevOps Engineer, you take technical ownership of our infrastructure and DevOps practices. You are familiar with modern cloud technologies and deployment strategies. As part of our team, you automate processes, optimize workflows, and ensure reliable and scalable systems. You actively work on both projects and products as well as cross-project infrastructure and DevOps strategy, and are responsible for ensuring that best practices are lived at JUST ADD AI.

Infrastructure as Code: You own and evolve our Infrastructure as Code
CI/CD Pipelines: You design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments
Container Orchestration: You orchestrate containerized applications and work with cloud platforms
Technical Quality: You identify technical debt and risks early and address them proactively
Mentoring: You mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing
Best Practices: You bring best practices to the team and help others adopt them
Full-Stack Development: You flexibly step into full-stack development when capacity allows
Coding Assistants: You develop, test, and document making the most intensive use of LLM-based coding assistants
End-to-End: You are involved in the development from conception to deployment

Your profile

You hold an excellent degree in Computer Science or have a comparable background
You have several years of experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible
You have solid knowledge of Kubernetes, both conceptually and in practical application
You have excellent programming skills, live by best practices, and have successfully shipped software projects with TypeScript or Python to production
You have hands-on experience deploying applications with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD
You are familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Networking know-how, especially in the context of cloud providers, is a plus
You enjoy mentoring others and sharing your knowledge
You think outside the box and actively seek improvements
You enjoy working in a team and can communicate effectively with people of different professions (technical and non-technical)
You have excellent German language skills
You have a strong sense of responsibility and identify risks early on
Through your motivation and self-discipline, you achieve a high quality standard, deliver results on time, and motivate other team members
You use modern tools, including AI, to work more efficiently
